Sunday Tribune - Corrections for misquotes.

I did an interview with the Irish Sunday Tribune recently but was misquoted in the headlines. I never said ”I’ll stand in an election to save Ireland from the Freemasons”, nor did I say that “I’ll stand in an election against the EU”. These headlines subsequently made their way to other papers as well, as happens.

When pressed on the issue of getting into politics by the interviewer (Ken Sweeney), I said I’d never thought about it but if the country was going seriously in the wrong direction and I thought I could help in some way and as long as I had support, then maybe it’s something I would consider. I don't blame Ken Sweeney, whom I think did a good interview, the problem is with whoever is making up the headlines.

It took a while for the Sunday Tribune to print my letter of complaint in relation to the misquotes but eventually in fairness they did.

By the way nowhere in any interview did I mention “shape shifting reptilians”, as was reported in the English Times :-)

Elements within the mainstream media will unfortunately try to marginalise certain people by ridicule in an attempt to negate or lessen the impact of their message!

On a smaller note, the brightest star in the sky I was referring to in the recent Sunday Independent magazine interview was Sirius and not Osiris as was stated!
